Since it’s inception in the year 2000, Joseph Project has traditionally focused on importing containers filled with goods from generous donors, nonprofits, companies, and communities around the world – from the United States to China, Germany and the Netherlands, and more. Volunteers collect items from surplus or quality second hand, they sort, pack, and ship to us in Israel, and we handle the customs, and the international logistics, transporting the goods to the warehouse where we document and catalog the items, before distributing them to centers and nonprofits across the country serving the people. We are constantly managing logistical and regulatory hurdles to enable the continuation of this supply line. To date over 800 containers have been imported! And counting…
