Working With Kibbutz Kfar Aza Toward Rebuilding

2026-01-26

After October 7, Kibbutz Kfar Aza was left shattered. The Joseph Project International is walking with the community toward restoration and hope.

On October 7th, in Kibbutz Kfar Aza on Israel's Gaza border, more than 60 members of this close-knit community were brutally murdered, and many others were kidnapped. What was once a vibrant place filled with young families and future dreams became a scene of devastation.

The young adult neighborhood, once the heart of the kibbutz's future, now stands marked by burned homes, bullet holes, and shattered safe rooms. The physical destruction reflects the deep trauma carried by the people who called this place home.

Together with local partners, The Joseph Project International is walking alongside the Kfar Aza community as they plan and prepare for a new neighborhood. The goal is clear: to create a place where young families can return, rebuild, and allow life to begin again.

This work is about more than construction. It is about restoration, healing, and standing with a community that has endured unimaginable loss.

If you want to stand with Israel during this critical time of rebuilding and renewal, we invite you to donate and support restoration efforts in communities like Kfar Aza.

"I will bless those who bless you." Genesis 12:3
