In a country where crisis can strike without warning, being prepared is not a privilege-it's a necessity. That's why Joseph Project International recently hosted a life-saving emergency preparedness workshop at our logistical center in Israel.
Joined by friends from across the country, participants were equipped with professional-grade first responder backpacks-packed with life-saving tools like multi-tools, gauze, thermal blankets, cooling spray, tourniquets, and more. But the gear was just the beginning.
The real transformation came through hands-on training led by Magen David Adom. Attendees discovered how to respond quickly and effectively to injuries and crises-skills that could mean the difference between life and death. From former ambulance drivers to frontline reservists, every participant walked away with a deeper understanding of just how vital this knowledge and equipment are in today's Israel.
One attendee summed it up: "This is exactly what we need. It's not just a bag-it's a blessing. It gives people the power to save lives."
Thank you to all our donors who make it possible to place this equipment-and this training-into the hands of those who need it most.
"Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to do it."
